2. The Letter pages in the French press might also be a good way in to raising awareness. L'Humanité, Le Figaro, Le Monde and also the French regional and Evening papers too. Most have e-mail addresses in the paper or maybe on the websites.Has anyone tried this yet?
3. We have been offered assistance in lobbying re the CMU end March situation from our village maire and one in a nearby town. We have given them the relevant information. Some of them are very 'well connected'. The local French are outraged by what is happening. Maybe worth pursuing by others?
4. Done! More than the labour party has done.....I think any avenue is worth prodding.
5.
Cooperlola - many thanks. We had already written to CPAM asking them for advice on action to take after our E106 expires. Still waiting for a reply, which we'll forward to Mary Honeybull when received, as she requested. We'll willingly pester the French Ministry if you could e-mail or publish the letter you are working on.
If you send me the letter for French Ministry I'll send too.
6. Of course, if you're concerned for yourself or for others you should sign. I've e-mailed ALL my friends and contacts. The list of e-mail petitions is enormous so we have to get this one bigger than the rest and fast. [:D]
7. The Europe Minister is Jim Murphy _ his webpage and contact details are at http://www.jimmurphy.labour.co.uk/ He'll be at Labour Party conference but I've e-mailed anyway.
8. This has just appeared on the Total France forum and of course I've sent an e-mail in response......seems worthwhile "Dear All My name is Mark Nottingham I am Political Manager to Mary Honeyball MEP who is taking up tyhis issue. She is preparing questions to the European parliament and also possibly motions. I would be grateful for those of you affected to e-mail details of your cases to [email protected] Many thanks Mark Nottingham "
