  1. just an idea but when my son and i went on a trip with a freinds whose son had lived in france for 7 years i asked the son being (14) to pretend that he could only speak french it took my son a long time to reaise he understood english and was talking to him in french the whole time they are now great buddys [:D] What i am trying to say is introduce them as french speakers not english speakers and see how they go it might work
  2. Hello just a few thoughts Have you tried the little (I think its called ) french knitting dollies the ones where you make a tube of knitting by hooking it over the top. Why are you trying to get your daughter to knit or crochet right handed if she is left, i have a reader digest book that shows both right and left handed ways, i also have a right handed friend who apart from writing right handed does everything else left handed, if yo look i am sure wyou could find a craft book that explains how to do things left handed as well she will be much more confident if she does things her natural way.
  3. I have had the same with 3 in england I purchased a new mobile phone and it has a dud batery it will not hold any charge. so take it back and they say sorry its no under gurantee only the softwear on the phone, not policy to exhange batteries, sorry, so i said just open another box and give me one from that cant do not allowed have to be regestered to someone before we can open box, They said I will have to purchase a new battery but not from them because they don't stock any !!!!!!  I say you give me battery you sold me faulty goods.... I have got to send phone off so they can see the problem although the sales guy in the shop told them and be without my phone for as long as it takes.   Thank goodness I still have my old one [:D]

  20. hi Thanks for the replys much appreciated. Sorry I have been feeling abit sorry for my self,  Odile i have had three lots of antibiotics and the abses still keeps comming back they said the only other option than having it pulled wa to be a very long and not painless root canal filling which would have to be done privately (because the NHS have done it once al ready) costing an armand a leg, so i have made an appointment to have the tooth out in the morning , perhaps then i will feel a bit better in myself.  I need to be strong for my poor hubby who is devistated about his dad.
  21. Firstly i'm in limbo because i am wating for the arival of a grandchild which is due on saturday and really quite excited, i even put off comming to france, havent even book my ferry yet[:)] However, sad news on monday as my father-in-law gave up his fight for life after a short illness.  Lots of tears of sadness so far this week but we are hoping for tears of joy very soon. Then as my poor husband has been driving miles and miles to help sort things out the cam belt snaps on my car half up the motor way.. and to top it all I have an abses on my tooth and will now have to go and have it taken out. I was soo looking forward to the summer holidays and now just seem all at sea..
