1. The final release version IE7 is now available for download as of today. With reference to Jonzjob problem reference the entries in your "favorites". Once you've clicked on the yellow star and brought your list into view, don't click the blue arrow, just open the folder and click on the individual site you wish to view.
2. IKEA sell a wood treatment oil which is safe for use on food preparation areas and also offers a good degree off water resistance if applied regularly. If my memory serves me correctly, it is sold by the 0.5 litre and costs around £3.00. An interesting safety point regarding the use of wood finishing oils is once you've finished the job, don't screw the application cloth(s) up into a ball and through them in a corner - they can self combust, and I've seen it happen!
3. Glad you managed to achieve it using "PrtScn". The most probable reason you were unable to save using my option is that the PP Presentation was in a "Read Only" format, designed to prevent the 'borrowing' of images.[Www]
4. Miki, I see you're still experiencing problems. 1.  Zone Alarm recently issued an update - have you got this installed? 2. If everything works fine without Zone Alarm - Get rid of it and use Windows Firewall. It is a  component of XP service pack 2 and despite what some may say about it - it works fine. In fact, this may be where the problem lies, are you running both Zone Alarm AND Windows Firewall together? Back to chasing the pig.........
5. Give me chance to catch the pig................. Would you settle for a tin of Spam instead?
6. Miki, Glad you've cracked it. System Restore is a very handy utility and it's saved my bacon on more than one occassion!
7. Wils, Right click on the picture you wish to save. Select -"SaveAs" and place it in "My Pics" folder. Close PowerPoint, go to My Pics folder, find selected image and right click on it. Select "Set as Desktop Background" and that's it - done!
8. Miki, Follow this link: support.microsoft.com/kb/308538/ Alternatively, use your 'System Restore' facility to go back 24 hours.
9. I'm sorry Ian, but I'm confused. On one hand you're going on about how Apple is not an environmentally friendly company - on the next you're extolling the virtues of the iPod, also an Apple product. Now with regard to Greenpeace, I don't suppose for one minute they have rid themselves of all those nasty Macs - unless they've been rebadged as 'GeenApple', nor have they banned their worldwide workforce from using iPods, nor are they using a solar/wind powered fleet, nor have they stopped using some of the most fuel inefficient fast craft. No doubt in the interests of the environment, you will soon stop using things electrical. Thank goodness an abacus can't do emailing!
10. No Dick, the batteries in Vaios just stop working altogether! Are Sony quick to help? No way, once they've sold a machine their customer service is the worst I've ever come across.
11. Greenguard turns your horse / pony into a Hannibal Lector lookalike! http://www.barnstormers.co.uk/acatalog/Muzzles.html or http://search.ebay.co.uk/greenguard_W0QQfromZR18QQfsopZ1QQsspagenameZADMEQ3aBQ3aTB2Q3aUKQ3a2 We get ours off eBay. They look pretty grotesque but the Greenguard especially, limits the amount the horse / pony can eat as they only manage to get the strands of grass which actually fit through the mask. Works a treat!
12. Harley Prevention is better than cure! A good farrier will be invaluable in diagnosing the earliest signs of laminitis. If you are grazing your pony on rich pasture, you can also limit the intake by fitting a Greenguard. Sorry, I can't help with insurance as our nags are in the UK.
13. WJT wrote"But please don't say that you would do nothing and allow the population of your country to be wiped out." I suggest you look at the history of  the build up and formation of the Israeli State. They were allowed to set their own borders and ended up taking some 70% more land than the original UN agreement. "As far as humiliating the Palestinians, it is such a shame that they had such a crooked leader" Take a long hard look at the background of some of those who have held positions within the Israeli Government. In particular, take alook at the Zionist movement of the 1930's. "I feel it was a big mistake as it was to leave southern Lebanon." But they haven't left, nor have they stopped the sea blockade. How would you feel if  the americans suddenly decided to invade the UK in the interest of "peace" because we are harbouring terrorists - which in effect we are i.e suspected aircraft bombers!  "By the way, I think it would be very interesting to see some Arab countries step up to plate and help the Palestinian civilians in a very meaningful way, not just supporting the terrorists groups." Jordan has been doing it for years and unless you've seen first hand the hardships the Palestinian are suffering in what can only be called transit camps and shanty towns, you might think before commenting.
14.
Mary?
Err, the post previous to yours Dick!
15. Diva Star wrote - "The King David's Hotel bombing occured before the state of Israel existed!" But coincidence that the attack was ordered by Menachem Begin, then leader of Irgun, an organisation classified as a terrorist group, who then went on to become an Israeli Prime Minister. To add insult to injury, In July of this year Right Wing Israelis including Benjamin Netanyahu attended a 60th anniversary clebration of the bombing. I don't understand why today Israel's track record of targetting the innocent continues.
16.
Perhaps if the Lebanese had done more to get rid of Hezbollah themselves, the recents events could have been avoided?
I repeat - "Israel's indiscriminate use of ordnance against the Lebanese, not to mention attacks on red Cross convoys, ambulances, and the murder of UN Peacekeepers". So you are saying Hezbollah is now made up of Christian Lebanese, UN forces, and the Red Cross? Before using Hezbollah as the sole excuse, it is worth taking a look at Israels history of terrorism. Let's start with the King David's Hotel bombing!
17. It seems rather odd that the kinfolk of those who suffered the atrocities 60 years ago are now committing equally horrendous acts against their neighbours! I refer of course to Israel's indiscriminate use of ordnance against the Lebanese, not to mention attacks on red Cross convoys, ambulances, and the murder of UN Peacekeepers. I sincerely hope that Israel will foot the bill for the rebuilding of the Lebanese infrastructure.
18. There is a site where you can view Dover Straits traffic. If you register on www.AISLive.com, there is a 'Public' subscription page which will allow you to view traffic UK & worldwide. The free site is subject to a time delay in its reporting but you could always pay to receive the current movements.
19. Here's another link - but I sincerely hope your ferry isn't this far North!!![:D] http://www.aisliverpool.org.uk/
20.
The reporting regulations do not apply to individuals.  In this case, the seller's bank will ask him for an explanation for the unusually large deposit.
Unless you keep your funds stuffed in a mattress, you'll find the money laundering regulations indirectly apply to everyone and are in force across member states of the European Community and the US & Canada. If you accept a large sum of money in payment which turns out to be 'dirty' money', and you come to the notice of the authorities, you as the recipient of the suspicious funds are likely to not only lose the lot but also be forced to account for everything you own i.e. where the money came from to buy your house, caravan, boat, car, Rolex, etc.    Even if you sell a vehicle for let's say 10,000 Euro, and decide to make 5 bank deposits of 2000 Euro each week over the next 5 weeks, this is likely to cause suspicion. A Columbian drug smuggling cartel was recently smashed and during their money laundering operation within the UK, it was estimated their biggest deposit of cash to a bank was £500.00! Yet they managed to get millions out of the country.
21. Quillan, As you say, it's "Typically French"! The get-out clause in favour of GPS products is that they do not detect nor interfere with the signals emitted  by the radar or laser speed detecting devices, but provide the user with information freely available to the public sector. Incidentally, the Gendarmerie Maritime also favour the "Sneaky Beaky" approach and utilise their portable devices to "check" the speed of watercraft in speed restricted areas. "A interesting point that its well known that automatic garage openers (the ones hard wired in to your car) jam spead cameras yet they are sold here in France." Even better, fit a missile to your car. If it detects a an emitted beam aimed at you - you could programme it to automatically launch![;-)]
22. Richard, I don't know where you have obtained your information but unless the position has changed within the last few days, the position is as I stated earlier i.e. it is legal to use GPS fixed speed camera locaters. It is NOT permissable to use a device designed to detect radar or laser detection systems. " Radar detectors are illegal in France whether in use or not. If you should be caught with such equipment in your vehicle, you are liable to a prison sentence, a fine, confiscation of the device and the vehicle. You should therefore ensure radar detectors are removed from your vehicle before commencing any journey to France." Foreign & Commonwealth Office Travel Advice for France as at 23 August 2006.
23. Andy, I can second that. I update my GPS as and when new cameras are fixed. It is not an offence to know the whereabouts of fixed cameras and that information is readily available anyway. It is an offence to use a device designed to receive signals emitted from non-fixed speed detectors and, as we know, the use of these is very common in France.
24. Last week, while enjoying a few days R & R, I found an area of beach not displaying "No Dogs" signs. Unleashed trusty mutt and within a few metres she was down and rolling on something nasty - a used s**t filled disposable nappy. After a visit to the oggin to wash mutt, I was disgusted at the amount of broken glass that was also evident. So yes Wen, I agree with you entirely - keep the darn things off the beaches altogether, kids in nappies and anyone else that can't clean up after themselves that is!
