Bite

I went this morning. Wow - much much busier than I thought it would be. Books and people spilling out everywhere, I think they need to find a bigger hall for the next one! I dropped off a couple of bag fulls and came away with another.  They must have raised a huge amount of reddies from this (and past) events, all in a good cause.

We have wooden stairs but I don't find them slippery - do you wash or treat them with anything that would make them slippery?  Carpets on stairs - never again, hoovering it would kill my back, it's so easy with wood and seeing how much fluff and hair gathers in the corners [+o(]

If you're including card games, then Uno is very good. Risk is supposed to be very good (according to my son who has it on his Xmas wish list). What ages are you intending them for? What about a Poker set for after dinner parties?

My abricotier has been in the ground over winter with no protection when it's been down to -12, so quite hardy! Like ChrisPP says though, protect the early blossom from any frosts.
