  4. Just a thought, weve had our house on the border of limousin for 3.5 years, we used to live there, but due to employment etc, we came back to the UK.  But I still ring my neighbours in France, at least once a month, I email friends of theirs, do you think continuing communiation makes a difference?  Just a thought thats all

  6. Looking for a lift over from Dover to central France, nearest town Boussac or La Chatre.  Maybe for a couple of weeks time.  Only a possibility at the moment. TIA
  7. Hands up, yes that was me, I have spent most of the day trying to fathom this all out.  So, if I were to make vol contributions to health care and stuff, really Im heading back towards being self employed again?  No dont think the company I work for would set up a sat office.  So basically this is impossible to do without being self employed or a sat office being set up.  Say that you didnt pay into health system but just tax, and then if you were ill, just paid for it?
  8. Hi, Wonder if somebody maybe able to clear this up for me, once and for all? I have the opportunity of working in France, from home, as I do here in the UK.  I will still be paid and apparently I can obatain a No Tax code, so my employer can pay me, untaxed, so I can pay tax in France.  I do not want to go down the self employed route, so legally how can I do this, as I am taking into account how I would pay charges etc for health care.  Somebody has mentioned form E101 to me, which allows you to work in a foreign country temporarily.  So confused, any ideas anyone?
  9. Looking for a lift to Central France, nearest town either Boussac, La Chatre or even Chateauroux.  Live in Edinburgh, but obviously will travel, if anyone heading over on Boat.

  13. Just had our two cats return from France, so we had to go through all the blood tests and stuff Think alot of it is to do with how the cat is held while the blood is taken.
  14. sorry meamt  www.french-property.com no aggresiveness
  15. Sorry, should not have replied to this subject, this site is too aggresive for me.  try www.internet-french property.com or total france, not prepared to get into slangy matches.
  16. Im sorry folks, I dont agree with anybodies replies. If you have an animal surely you dont compromise their wellbeing, you have got them as a pet "for life" and their welfare becomes before "money" Dogs, cats etc are not good in heat.  Consider them first, there was a reason why you got them, you cant put them on the backburner to satisfy the needs of others
  17. I have a friend who is buying a property in France, if there are any debts attached to the house, who is liable?

Alternatively another option, is for somebody to stay at the house with them, ideal to use as a base, or somebody who maybe interested in a long break Kind regards Kate
