I am off to the Newbury meeting next weekend and will make my annual purchase of the calendar and Christmas cards from Lady Oaksey on the IJF Stand.  It is such a great cause and one close to Coops heart I think. Suey

She has had a connection but that stopped working, she has a new router too and has tried going back to her old one. Suey

I am not sure if anyone can help my friend, she has her telephone line through, I think, UK Telecom ( or a company providing the same service) but her adsl is provided by Nordnet.  She has telephone but is getting no signal to her router.  She has unplugged and replugged, booted and rebooted but to no avail. It says on screen that there is no connection to the router! Any suggestions please. Suey

Thank you all very much.  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  We live only an hour and a half from Lille but due to the fact that my hospital appointment, at Centre Oscar Lambret, is at 10.00 am we decided to make a couple of days of it beforehand.  We have booked the hotel and got a great deal on booking.com. Has anyone any experience of growing these.  We appear to have a problem, something insists on digging them up.  We planted three and every week or so, either our dogs or something is digging them up.  We keep replanting them but once again it has happened.  Is it the smell that they give off. Any info please.  Suey

My brother was a washing machine engineer and when I spoke to him about this, he suggested using powder instead of liquid.  We have the same problem with our top loader, I'll definitely try wiping with bleach.  Ta. Suey

Well we are sure that the hospitals sell our details because since I was in hospital three months ago, we are constantly receiving phone calls regarding mutuelles!  The exact same thing happened last year when I was in hospital.  I suppose the hospitals have to try something to make money. Suey

These people contacted our friend again yesterday,  unsurprisingly she told them where to go.  Suey

Having spent a great deal of time this afternoon checking all on our friends computer, all seems okay.  Thankfully.  Could have been so much worse.  however, we still have to see how much has been taken from her French bank account. Thanks all.  ......and by the way, on investigation it appears that these scammers are hitting all over the world so be aware - be very aware. Suey
