1.
I am being driven up the wall by this new forum, every time I come to look at a post, I get newest first, and when I change it in the box on the right hand side it only works for the message I am looking at.  Please somebody tell me how I can fix this so that I do not next feature in the missing posters thread, because it is really really annoying me.  I just want the first message at the top of the page and to be able to read downwards.
Hi Tourangelle In edit your details can you confirm that under Site Options you have sort posts - ascending. This should be it. Edit done it for you...hope it helps. James
2.
How do I get the message to display always oldest to newest and not vice versa?  Unless I change it every time, making the forum much longer to use than the old one[:P] it automatically shows the newest first at the top of the page, and I find it really irritating [:@]
Hi, Above messages you should have: Sort Posts:  Oldest to newest Newest to oldest   which you can change the display. James
3. I have removed the email option for ALL users until the developer is back in tomorrow to look into the set up. James
4. You will have to re-uploaded it to reset/correct the dimensions. (Windows users should right-click on the image and do Save Image As... if you don't have a copy locally). Then go to your user profile page at /cs/user/EditProfile.aspx to upload it.
5. There is an 'options' box at the bottom of each forum that you can filter posts and mark them as read but there doesn't seem to be a 'mark as read' within the unread list. One of the developers is going to look into this next week and see if it can easliy been included. James

10. Hi, Although we have changed software which should greatly reduce these errors, IS dept are working on the server issue still (I believe we are currently running one webserver instead of three). James
11.
I used to like being able to hover over a topic and get the first few lines, I see someone else has mentioned this.  Any chance in getting that back? Liz (29)
Hi Liz, Head to the 'Edit your details' link along the top of the page and click your name. Direct link is /cs/user/EditProfile.aspx You can enable Post Mouse-Over Pop-Up: set this to Yes if you wish to have a small amount of preview text when you hover over subjects on the threads page. James
12. Hi Dick I have now changed the filter. James
13. If you go back and edit a post, it will then raise the post to the most recent on the home page...just noticed this. James
14. There is an 'options' box at the bottom of each forum that you can filter posts and mark them as read but there doesn't seem to be a 'mark as read' within the unread list. One of the developers is going to look into this next week. James
15.
...anti-profanity software objects to my name so I'd REALLY appreciate it if that was changed because I find it just a teensy bit of a bloody insult.
Will look into changing the filter. Regards James
16.
Under the names of some posters there appear to be lines of balls. Some posters appear to have more balls than others. Poor me has none. What is the significance of these please? How do I get some?[:P]
This is instead of the 'levels' (eg forum guru) that we had on the other software but less obvious. It details, with reference to current activity, whether you are in the top 10, top 25 etc. as far as posts as a percentage of the number of recent posts as a whole.
17.
...But it won't let me upload an avatar. [:'(]
Strange, I've uploaded OK. What is it saying?
18. Thanks Baz, Scott in IS Norwich is looking into trying to have some kind of 'mark posts as read' facility, will let you all know. James
19. Should be fixed now....Firefox users should now be able to click on the links at the top of the forums to Active, Unanswered, Not Read etc .
20.
layout - OK except for multipage entries - having a mid blue number on red shaded to maroon background does not make it easy to find second and subsequent pages.  Somehing I am sure I'll get used to but maybe newcomers will not realise there are second pages to threads.  Like all things new it'll take a little adjusting to, but so far overall I would say[:)]
Valid point and will look into how easy this is to change. James
21. Yes, not great is it? However if you rollover him you will see he is called person [z] [Z]
22. This is something to do with an error in the migration...the user has emailed me and we are currently sorting this. James
23. Hi Christine, Post soince last visit is a bit different. If you go to  http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/ and click on unread it will show the posts you haven't yet read. For posting a picture, the pic will need to be on the internet (as before) then when posting switch to the 'html' (not Design) at the bottom of the text box. In here you will need to input <img src="insert url of the picture"> James
24.
I agree, It is very small and in parts very faint, I have eye strain already.  Someone said that you can alter settings by going into Settings but all I can find is some stuff about Blogs.  Could someone please tell me how I can alter this? Liz (29)
Hi, If you are logged in and click on your user name (at the top of the forum just after it says 'Edit your details') there is a menu Font Size Small Normal Large Largest Set this to largest. If you are still having problems you can change the size of the font in View>text size in Internet Explorer.   James
