HI, I have had neuf.modem about 5years and receently have found it extremely difficult to get on line wheras preeviously no big deal I am not a computer buff so any non technical explanation would help. I have 512 haut debit and the small adsl modem supplied has been changed a year ago by a Billion wireless  model although I use it connected to my computer. thanks.[8-)]

NO I PAID 750euro FOR THE NEW SET    -IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED AFTER ONLY 2 YEARS. I previously had a Toshiba about 10 years old which was excellent until on/off switch broke and as xpected that was no longer a stock item-but 2 years ----that really hurt!![:@]

Do not buy a Thomson as mine after 2 years had a mark inside the screen and  the shop said they could not supply a new screen as it was an old model!!!!!it was just out of guarantee and cost750euro.!!!OW.[:@] A letter to head office was not even acknowledged.

our outlet is on our land with slight slope towards road and ditch ,about 4-5 metres.from second pipe run.The pipe outlet from the tank has 2 pipes at right angles from it so they are parallel to the road. The grass always grows much thicker and taller here due to the extra water.(and I suppose a little fertiliser!!![8-|])

HI, I have a visit in 2 weeks time by SAUR re the above. Can someone please tell me in English what this new law requires e.g. how far is  the minimum existing underground drainage from the road or ditches etc.  I bought house 8years ago and have had a new grease trapas top slab was broken and the tank emptied every 3 years..thanks  [8-)]

MY pool is for family and friends only-not a rented gite .If a child is in so long as to get serious sunburn then I agree that is not nice,however I check that they are not in a very long time.When I lived abroad in Trinidad and spent a day at the beach I used to take a spare shirt FOR THE CHILDREN AND MYSELF and swim in it to prevent the serious sunburn that was possible. I think that parents of children need to take more responsibility and care of their children in some cases  as pools and excess sun exposure are dangerous.

Thanks Baz, my cover is a bubble wrap around the perimeter edgeswith another thick plastic which is stitched to hold the bubble wrap in place. I have bought a new 10x2 metre white plastic to wrap the bubble wrap when it is on the roller to protect it .however the first 1-2 metre which is the top of the rolled up bubble wrap is the worst ,the remaining bubble wrap in reasonable condition . I will be trying totemporary stick some more bubble wrap for the roman end of the pool but if unsuccessfull then I will live without the end protection and loose some heat overnight. i cannot afford the outlay  of a new bubble wrap--perhaps when the pound gets as strong as last year and my pension converted into euro is better aga   SOME HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi, I live in 87 region and have witout much problems for 8 years but recently the enening reception is terrible via our tv sky (free) connection ---why? anything to do with weather 30centigrade +??? no change made to dish,no tree interferring etc. tv is ok.[8-)]

simple answer -no shower--no swiming!!-or drown the little blighters!!!children and some adults have no respect for other peoples property and when you say do not take any bottles or glasses into the fenced off area of the (this is friends and family)pool they think you are kidding--a piece of glass cannot be seen under water and can cut the feet and the liner--- I agree on the excess amount of sun tan cream somepeople use and then only goin the pool for 5 inutes leaving a greasy layer in the skimmer!!ugh.  

A NEW ONE HERE FOR 10X4.5 METRE AND ROMAN END IS 430EURO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO I AM TO EXPERIMENT WITH SOME BUBBLE WRAP STUCK TO EXISTING BUBBLE WRAP AND HOPEIT IS MADE OF PVC AS THE SHEET PLASTIC I TRIED MUST HAVE BEEN POLYETHYLENE AS IT HAD NO ADHESION WHO IS UK SUPPLIER?? .[:(]

Hi,I have a bubble cover about 7 years old and after the top cover which was used to cover up the rolled up bubble wrap and roller during the day had disintegrated and teared. I continued without a protective cover for the bubble wrap. Yes I know in hind sight I should have replaced it, but in last 2 years the bubble wrap cover has started to disintegrate. Question -What is the plastic sheet made of sold at Brico's?   -pvc or polyethylene -nothing on label and what is bubble wrap made from as I have attempted to stick a plastic sheet to the end of the roll of bubble wrap but clear plastic sheet did not stick!!!!! I used a selant mastic claimed to siick pvc flexible sheets.[8-)] thanks.

Hi, I have a  CYBERNAUT  pool hoover which can be used manually or set on automatic to clean pool with a roman step. Since the introduction of an SENSOR PREMIUM  pool alarm I have to do i tmanually as I am afraid the cleaner would damage the alarm. Can these be reprogrammed so they miss the alarm???

Why not try abrading the area under water ,then apply the  underwater epoxy compound. Ensure you brush it on with a very stiff brush as this will help push away some of the water from the surface and assist adhesion of the epoxy. Some of the product will float away ,so an old pool net just above the repair area will collect some of this. I am a long time retired chemist and used to make underwater curing epoxies--50% of the product may stick and the rest float away.-but an option worth trying. I REMEMBER IN 1962 USING THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT IN A HILTON HOTEL POOL IN THE WEST INDIES. p.s.and the swimmers  did not stick to the bottom>[:D]

Why not unscrew the alarm when necessary and refit as required ?-a little job---but a lot cheaper than replacing winter/summer cover with a new floater!

The only additional information necessary in my declaration above was to state the BW amount was for a pension taken out in years 55-59years of age which I have been given a 50% deuction on the figure of 5759euro to use in the actual taxable income. I HAVE HAD NO CHANGE IN INCOME HARDLY AND THE FALL OF £STRENTH REDUCED INCOME BY 11% AS OUR TAX OFFICE SAID TO USE 1.21 EURO =1£ FOR 2008. I do not know if computer is correct or tax changes last year have given us so much reductions!!!previous year I paid 900euro and do not want to be told a little tax to pay ,then a letter arrives demanding an unexpected tax bill, later in the year. can anyone unravel this mystery please.several years ago I was sent a calculation table like a binominal theorem if thts the right word which i could easily do . hi, I just spilt on keyboard a little soft drink so dried as far as possible and prized off 2 keys to check underneath, the windows emblem and the opposite side of space bar-key (WITH A BOOK SYMBOL ON IT ) between alt gr and ctrl YOU CAN SEE I AM NOT COMPUTER LITERATE! They  seem to snap back on ok except the second one and when playing around I found I had no letters typed after pressing the T,H,C and V keys. I REBOOTED AND I HAVE THEM BACK. THCV!!! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN AND DO I NEED TO TAKE ANY OTHER ACTION.?? THANKS.[8-)][:$][B] P.S. I am normally very carefull with allowing drinks near my laptop -this is the first accident.
