  1. I am not resident in France, flit btween the two, we have toyed with idea of registering one of the cars in France.  Is there any advantage, or am I inviting more hassle?
  2. I put my shirt on Man U for the cup and UK for the Eurovision.  Its cold just in a vest in it!
  3. I take it one of those little green plastic type sheds for putting tools etc in are OK, least I hope so!
  4. It took me about a year.  I mentioned it to the Estate Agent who gave him a gentle reminder and the paperwork was through within a week.  He appologisd and said it had got tucked away and forgotton about.  Again they are not deeds as such, but enough to proove ownership.
  5. I live in Weymouth Dorset, when not in France, as a holiday resort the town was hit big time by this scam, luckily not many Guest Houses fell for it (only the greedy ones of course)
  6. We are from the same area (50) and cheated.  We took carpet tiles from UK, but they are obtainable in carpet shops locally.  Tiles seemed easer with the not so straight walls of the house!
  7. I used a firm from our host Living France who are based in Sherborne Dorset, not a thousand miles from you.  They take part loads from any size.  My experience of them was very good.  They gave a delivery time and were spot on time.  The are FRENCH CONNEXION TEL 01935 872222 EMAIL [email protected] Good luck
  8. I have now owned my place near St James for about a year, but I still havn't had a water bill.  Does anyone know how the bills are worked.  Is it once a year or quarterly.  I have registered with the water company and they have my UK address
