1.
Hey Jay! I shall continue to make you giggle until someone presses the report button.[:D]
Well that won"t be me, I'll just enjoy the giggle. I take it you're coming off an adrenalin high. [:D]    Aw Chrisikins, I did say sorry[;-)]
2. Oooh, do I say a belated happy St David's Day or an early happy St Patrick's Day? [8-)] Thanks for the laugh Twinks, glad you left it. [:D] Sorry Chris![kiss]
3. Me too, Verviale. That's why I rarely look on these threads, I know I can't home any of the animals & when you see the state some of them are in. [:'(] So pleased for Loup & Lou![:D] It's going to be fun in that household for a while, everytime hubby calls, he'll get 2 for the price of one![:-))]
4. They're home, I'll tell her to get on here asap & let you know.[:)]
5. Here you go Tresco, there are actually 2 threads http://www.totalfrance.com/france/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23144 http://www.totalfrance.com/france/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23389  My thoughts Heather, all is crossed for you to get some positive news about Faya very soon.
6. Hello Micky, check this as I think it may explain it all to you http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/851090/ShowPost.aspx
7.
My copy of the book is somewhere in la France Profonde at the moment, so you're welcome to borrow it Gay when it turns up. Could be the one you're talking about JayJay. I am Tricia on the other forum. Postage is a bit steep though as it's a hardback. A fascinating read, the kind of book which I need to re-read a few times before everything sinks in.Pat.
Aha! Hello Pat, yes it is your copy then. [:)] I should think it's winging it's way back to you now.
8. It must be all the talk about it on French fora! [;-)] It is a good & interesting read, well worth it. On another forum, Suite Francais was doing the rounds, a read it & pass it on thing. If you can't get a copy, look it up on there & see if you can be next on the list. I think you'll find the last person to have it, has not long finished. Just an idea.[:D]
9. We have a Senseo machine, it's really easy to use & the coffee is good. The coffee comes in little t-bag like things & there are several different types of coffee to choose from. The price is from about €70 though.
10. This site is quite good & if you have a look around, it also has a gardening calender, that guides you through what jobs should be done in any particular month & area. This link is for the hedge guide & you can pick your area for that. It is in French though. http://www.plantes-et-jardins.com/catalogue/catalogue2.asp?id_sections=3538&w1=1470$1471
11.
And in our bit of the north east, as I have no idea as to whether it happens anywhere else, a peck on the lips is perfectly acceptable from certain family members and friends on certain occassions.
It happens down South too, well in the bits I come from! Nice to hear somebody else still pecks on the lips, instead of mwaah'ing, to certain people of course.   Pierre, Zededee For President?
12.
Cerise, his grey phase no doubt coincided with his stint at Twinkle’s, who no doubt drained the colour out of him. I’m happy to announce that Georgie is now peachy, perky and bouncy in all the right places…..[;-)] Sorry JayJay, rugby calendar sounds an excellent idea for those on the waiting list. You know, it’s rugby country here. There’s sun (not today), rugby and lots of wine. One worthwhile thing out of 3 is not bad. Wouldn’t dare say that in public in these parts. Ladies, don't you worry about sweet George, as I have the goodness of a pure convent lass, he's practically in heaven. (where's the halo smiley?)
Humph, funny how you don't sound sorry LG! [:(] Poor George, a convent girl to boot. Phewy, he's in trouble! [:P] By the way, sadly it's not rugby country up here, I do have it on the box though.[:D] It's 20 & sunny, but I'll leave the wine, a tad early for me. So that's 2'ish out of 3.
13. Such innocence! [;-)] Right, I'm going to the nearest bridge to chuck myself off, the wait is gonna be just too long for George. LG2 isn't gonna part with him for yonks & there's the dictionary to go through yet.[:P] Then Missy, oh dear & Lori. Oh woe is me! There'll be nowt left [:(] Ah........where's that rugby calender post of Christine's?[Www]
14. I think we have the same problem with our digi scales, as I've lost 6 1/2lbs overnight. I had a pigout day yesterday too![:$] That's why I weighed myself today, to scare myself not to do the same again. [8-)]
15. Yer Tetley, tis ere me dear! http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/877164/ShowPost.aspx Edit, you were editing while I was posting!
