Valentina Harris runs a cookery school not far from here, with different chefs every week. The courses starts on saturday, so every friday night, at the end of one course and before the start of the next, they all come here to cill out for a big pizza feast! we also had Michael Moore, his restaurant has been voted one of the 3 best in London... it's quite a sactisfaction for me and Tracy... if we finally move to Cape Town i would like to open the same concept of pizza club  over there...

thanks Poolguy, is Zeolite available in every poolshop? what about the cost compared to sand? do you need the same quantity?  

12x6 m pool, how often do you change the sand in the  filter?  

i came from the Piemonte region, just over the alps in Italy and the language i speak with my family and most of my friends is Piemontese. one day i was listening to a local Perigueux radio,  the whole program was in Occitan and it's incredible how may words are the same or sound similar! Even Tracy who only knows 1% of the words was picking them up! i think it's all to do with the langue d'oc and how spread it was at the time. ..and it's sad but also Piemontese is dying... the kids of my 3 sisters they al undertand  but never use it, so in another generation it will be dead...

[/quote] ...not everyone.... we are selling after 5 successful summers, when we moved here we knew this was just temporary, we had a good time and loved every moment.  we are moving forward, for sure not going back to the UK!  next stop is South Africa and our experience here will be precious! we know it will take a long time to sell so we are ready and happy to run another season in 2007. ..and we will not make a mint, just the right price after having several valuations from more than one estate agent. the fact that there are so many gites for sale is not scary for us, it only means the buyers have to be more careful in choosing the right one...

in addition to our gite we look after another gite sleeping 6, we charge 45UK£ for each house cleanding, and 45UK£ for washing/ironing, independently of the number of people staying that week. for gardening is 10UK£/h    

it's looking better, i started on monday the first of 4 weeks of fisiotherapy... lots of bending and massages to reactivate the blood flow... really painful and lots of electric shocks, but apparently is a good sign! ..but tennis is still out for a few months...

i had free.com  adsl working for a week. 3 days ago the phone connected to the back of the freebox also started working, but if i go to check my free account  - Consommation téléphonique  (mois en cours) or Consommation de préselection (mois en cours)  they both says: Pas de consommation téléphonique disponible   why is this happening? how can i be sure my calls are really free?     also, what is the difference between consummation telephonique and de preselection??     thanks
