  1. Hi The female end (socket) of the bend/pipe should face upwards - this prevents any condensation leaking from the joint. Graham
  2. Hi You should replace the 90 degree bends with 45 degree bends, installing with sockets uppermost to prevent any condensation from leaking out.   Graham
  3. Hi Although it is not cheap I would recommend the Zodiac Cybernaut, comes fully programmed for automatic operation and also includes a remote control facility - no more messing about connecting hoses - just sit back & let it do the work! Hazel http://www.piscine.tv/FR/M3.php?id=11#debut

    FRELONS

We tried the pompiers they would not come out unless there was a danger to life/small children, even though we did have children , as the nest was in the garden. The marie tried to find some one to come out - price 160 euro ! in the end we bought a spray for frelon nests 14 euros ish from castorama, same stuff as used by the pompiers it says on can.You can spray them from 6 meters, it is very powerful and it does work (think it was a yellow and black can)  sorry cannot remember name in uk now  hope this helps Hazel.
  5. Hi We travelled this August with my father aged 83. At Stansted in the departures we were able to join the priority queue (especially for children and people that needed more time to board the plane.) However on the return from Limoges there was no help at all , with a rugby scrum to get through the gate, not a very pleasant experience! I think this is due to the fact that Ryanair does not allocate seats to passengers, it's just a free-for-all to find a seat on the plane.  There was no other help at either airport (I did enquire about this before making the trip). We also had a very long walk to and from the plane at Stansted. I think the best thing to do is book a wheel chair as wheel chair users seemed to be well looked after. Hope this helps Hazel
  6. Does anybody want the Friday afternoon flight to Limoges from Stansted? It can be changed to another day. As I am not able to use this flight, does anybody want it? I believe you can change the name and date for a fee of about 35.00. Hazel

  10. Hi, Welcome to the Limousin. We also have a small farm near Limoges, we too looked at property with land that was let to tenant farmers. We were put off buying a farm with land that had a tenant due to the laws in France, tenants have a lot of rights and it is very difficult to get them off the land if you decide you wish to use it yourself ( we were advised you have to give 10 years notice!) Beware of paying a lot of money for something that could possibly be of no use to you. Good luck Hazel
