I've seen a couple of examples on TV today where the treatment this family want for their son has been suggested by a NHS consultant and the NHS has paid for the children concerned to go to Oklahoma to receive it....... It seems like the treatment is available on the NHS .....so the question remains why it was not offered or the family not supported if they wanted to fund it privately.....

Haven't the parents left to try and get the drug Southampton have refused ? I have mixed feelings about this, a past poster here used to sing the praises of Southampton hospital esp regarding children. It may be that they genuinely feel the drug would just prolong the child's suffering and be to no avail - but as a parent I know that anyone would go to the ends of the earth if there was even the slimmest hope. Whatever, no good will come of separating the child from his parents in what may be his last days...very sad.

Chiropodist recently told me that anything containing urea would do for feet....I'm currently using Boots own foot lotion, very nice and not as claggy as Vaseline .

I'm of to Nice next Month and then a weekend at L'Enclume in the Lake District in November[:D] never a dull moment [:)]

That's ridiculous - the article states quite clearly the company was started by a Palestinian...... Frankly I am not particularly interested in the rights and wrongs of either side, what I detest is the killing of children who have no choice .

Look up National beverage Company...started by Palestinians and employing Palestinians......in partnership with CocaCola. My feeling is that you are in danger of assuming something about another forum member and we all know that assumption is the mother of all mess ups.
