  1. It is not a silly statement.First there were the riots and now the sit in.What next I wonder?
  2. Glad I live here. The UK has gone to h... in a hand cart.
  3. Very posh.I bought some grout here and found it was not as good as I have used in UK.I found it quite "lumpy".So much so I am going to score some out and redo with a pot I bought in UK.

    Breast fed

    I still remember those days.
  5. I second that comment. When I was a slip of a thing,Cod Liver Oil and Malt extract were order of the day.Tasted awful but it set us up for coping with the "bugs"? that my generation used to get as kids,so much so in the mid 70's when our 2 daughters were very young,we gave them Sco...s Emulsion. They hated it but I would like to think it done the trick.
  6. Thanks for the reply. Spot on. Are they edible I wonder?
  7. Some lakes around are low in water and I have seen empty 20cm long shells green/brown in colour. However today I found 2 complete shells with what looked like oysters coloured orange.Dead of course on shore line. Any thoughts on what they might be.
  8. I have just returned from Breton dancing at the Fez Noz.Had a few glasses of rose wine and danced a lot.
  9. I could not agree more.Everything in moderation.I am out Breton dancing later so not too much wine, but after I have tired myself out I will have to retire to the bar and have a few just to be sociable.
  10. Just watched the the latest episode. Why would you want W-------rs crisps delivered here as well as breakfast cereal? We bring over -- Tips because I do not drink coffee.
  11. What has the ex PM to do with an English pub for goodness sake?

    Ridiculous

Why not try Dinard to Stansted in Essex. A 1 hour flight, not far from Stanstead town And Braintree.
  14. I wonder that sometimes coop,Thanks for your advice.I have printed off the French circular and will be going back to CPAM within a few days. I will be going back with a friend who is our French teacher who went with me yesterday. He speaks the language fluently having retired as head teacher in a shool in UK. Reading the English circular,I can see light at the end of the tunnel.I must say I am struggling with the language, but am getting there according to my teacher.
  15. Just returned from CPAM in Pontivy. The answer was no.The person We spoke to had never heard of the new reg's.She photocopied the article in the C-------N newspaper and said she will contact her superiors. She did say that journalists may be pre empting the new rules by publishing now. A friend of mine did the talking,my French is not that good yet.
  16. It has got to be soul destroying if you have saved, worked hard to pay a mortgage etc and looking to a better future for you and your family, then something like this happens!
  17. I am just so annoyed because whatever happens to the man who has been charged with attempted murder, him and his family will probably have to move because the "robber's" family could make their life a bit unpleasant to say the least.
  18. If a scumbag enters your property intent on robbery why can't you take action to defend yourself.Insurance is ok but what about the phycological effect it has on the victim. It is all very worrying.

Will the baliffs move in?Surely the situation should not have dragged on for years.I remember when the people moved in years ago and they were told that they had to get building regs to build.Joe public have to. As for the so called supporters, one sounded like incitement to me.
