Does anyone know if Pink Salt is available here?I want to cure some Pork to turn it into Gammon.I need kosher salt as well but I was told today that sel de Guerande is as good.

You do not have to renew.It is adjusted,ie the increase.All be it a smallish amount for us.

One of our Westies has very red gums and bleed when we try to clean her teeth gently.She is eating ok and no sign of being poorly.Nose is cold etc.She has a skin allergy hence special biscuit.We are going to the vet on Monday. Any thoughts?

Its ok here in central Morbihan apart from the downpour last.The ground did need the rain though.Sun is shining today.

Cider.Around this area I have seen men with trailers collecting apples.I have been told that a mobile press is available that squeezes the fruit to make cider.I have used 10kg to make 2 gallons of wine.Squeezed by hand though,bit messy,but the end result is supposed to be worth it.

I think it is yet another sign of the world gone mad.

What is with the FA and the wearing of a poppy.The ref has been told to stop the match if the players come onto the pitch wearing a poppy.

I agree 110% Bugsy.I have just been turned down from entering the health system because the new EU regs are are not in force yet.So it's private insurance again in January for 9 mths until I get my OAP.Deep joy.

Went to CPAM in Pontivy today with someone who can speak French. We were told i would get an email before Friday.Received it 2 hours later stating that they had not yet heard about the new ruling from the EU which means that things stay the same as was stated in 2007. Deep joy!

I have not been so lucky with squash this year.I have 2 which are a lot smaller than yours.Courgettes have been ok though.

Why is the former PM spoken about in such terms.To say she is "leeching" is not a nice turn of phrase. So were here policies that bad.Where I lived in the Kent near the coalfield. The first year we were here,2009 we had a local goose.Very nice. We will be having one again this year.The cost will be 30-40 euros which is cheaper than the supermache.
