Hi Paul We recently bought a mower from Mr Bricolage which we are very please with. It's a touch over your budget but when we bought it, it was on offer at €329. It collects, mulches and does side and rear ejection. The engine is a Honda, it has a single lever to raise and lower the deck and has rear wheel drive which pulls like a randy horse... All in all, it's a very good bit of kit. Good luck EAMONN

Hi Gully-boy. That sounds about right. I had one done last year (white crown) and the total cost was €602. I got €161 back from my caisse, RSI, and my mutuelle, Alptis, agreed to re-imburse €386 of the remainder. That meant it only cost me €55 out of my own pocket.

Just compared a car under 2.4M high with a van under 2.4M high, Calais to Dover mid-week return: Car - €40 Van - €252...!!!! I think I'll stick with LD lines thanks...
