I was reading something the other day and it gave a different view. Has the main media reported fairly - I know that is a Trump moan.

Perhaps, it is a case of a maverick sounding good to the normal career politicians.

What amazed me was Trumps sustained attacks over Clintons emails yet nothing was really made over his alleged sexual assaults.

Time will tell.

Unbelievable when I reached out to put the radio on............He's just walked out on to the stage as the next President of the USA. So scary.

I've kept wondering the same as you, Paul, having heard about the assaults he's made and an apparent accusation against a minor.

He's making a statesmanlike speech at the moment.

I believe the Republicans didn't particularly win it but the that the democrats suffered a resounding loss in view of their candidate selection. An awful person and choice of candidate.

If you look at the Clinton successes on the map you will note they are concentrated  to the areas/states where the personal wealth is the greatest.  Which re-enforces that old chestnut "I'm not yet wealthy enough to vote socialist" which the rump of the states electorate believed by voting Republican.

Personally, I genuingly believe he will, just like Reagan, make a success of his presidency.

This is yet another wake up call to the world's political elite
I predicted Brexit.

I predicted Trump.

I predict Marine Le pen will be next in France.

I predict also that the EU will collapse.

I should have done a sweepstake.

People wine on about Brexit but the sentiment is the same worldwide. People want change and not be ruled by an elite establishment.
I concur.

Interestingly, I earlier picked up on a US pro-Trump web mag, Marine is the first foreign politician to congratulate Trump.
1:38 AM — Marine Le Pen of France’s Front National congratulates Trump.

Félicitations au nouveau président des Etats-Unis Donald Trump et au peuple américain, libre ! MLP

    — Marine Le Pen (@MLP_officiel) November 9, 2016
The doom and gloom projecting from the Lefty-Liberals is typical. No, the World hasn't stopped.

Trump offers an excellent chance now, at last, that the political hegemony of US politicians and big business, banking and oil and gas will be reigned in: about time.

Global markets and the US dollar dived: why? Since speculators realise only too well that the incestuous relationship between Wall Street and US Government will, to some degree, cease.

An EU Army?

[:D]

Since the EU Commissars couldn't organise a booze up in a distillery, one can imagine how any conflict would emulate General Burgoyne, who was enjoying a game pie, donchja know, behind a haystack during the Battle of Saratoga in the American war of independence ; was surrounded and forced to capitulate...

He and his orficers and gentlemen were repatriated to blighty; whereas all the enlisted grunts were imprisoned.

I thought it would happen and decided to be proactive and ahead of the game this time, in the last week I have exchanged all my £ sterling and €uro savings to US $'s and this morning tried to transfer them to Trump Pence but the currency was not listed, when is it going to happen?

Still looks like if I have to transfer it back to £'s or €'s I will still be up on the deal.

All those voters should have watched The Simpsons.

On a more serious note, I'm just hoping that like Reagan, he will surprise us all.

So why didn't wiki show Trump emails??

Why was not more made of Trumps taxes, or not paying them.

Why was not more mentioned of the way he made so much money leaving Atlantic City in such a mess ie bankrupt....... hope it works out better for the USA!

I do not doubt that there is something louche about Hillary.  But it doesn't feel like she was the only louche one in this election.

And another thought, IF it had been a two horse race, and not four, maybe she would have got in.

As it is, I think she may have won the popular vote, but that is not how their system works. and if that had been the other way round, would he have been screaming blue murder saying it was corrupt, as he threatened to do.

Clearly, Corbynchov's brother has much more intellect and common sense....
Piers Corbyn compares Trump victory to his brother Jeremy

This is a statement from Piers, the brother of Jeremy Corbyn:

"Whatever you may have heard or feel about Donald Trump his election

is an amazing revolution and vote of no-confidence against the corrupt

self-serving political establishment bubble, mainstream media and

opinion manipulators in the USA and the world. The result will lead to

tremendous changes which will defy and out-date the norms of today's

tired and failing elites and methods.

This election is strangely reminiscent of my brother, Jeremy

Corbyn's, epic victories in Labour - on many different policies but

nevertheless against the establishment bubble. Incidentally I predicted

both these victories months ahead and will shortly collect bet winnings

from William Hill for Trump's win."

Apparently, Jonz, the Secret Service team body guarding Clinton, nicknamed her airplane, "The Broomstick"!

[:D]
It just goes to show what a despicable awful person she is.

She didn't have the common courtesy or decency to thank all those millions of people who voted for her, let alone all those 1000's who will have contributed to and worked for her campaign.

It just highlights her utter contempt for people and the US electorate. Luckily for them she was shown the door and hopefully this will be the last we hear of her and her family.

Actually, Hilary did win, based on the number of votes. But the biased, screwed up system gave a false result, just as it did with Al Gore who was cheated out of the White House by a draft dodging cretin .... ooops, plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose, if one is Republican.

Given that they control the Houses as well, it is gonna be a hell of a time to be poor in the US!

One positive is that Trump can be removed in 4 years time, unlike Brexit. If they can keep his fingers away from the button for that time then maybe he won't be able to destroy too much away from home. On the home front it will be interesting to see what he actually does do. He could shout a lot and talk a lot about America being great, and wave the flag..he'll probably arrest a few Muslims and maybe bring in tighter security checks or visa requirements for everyone .. He might borrow some more money and build a few roads.. or walls and he will try and dismantle Obamacare..Maybe refuse to abide by the Paris Climate control agreement..but in reality will he be able to do all that? Some of the other more controversial ideas from his running mate, like electrocuting children to stop them being gay, and banning abortion, I can't see being allowed to happen.

All in all after 4 years, if he hasn't started a war, no one will be any better off. Let's hope there's a better opposition by then.

This is my worry. He says he believes in Nuclear proliferation, It is alarming to think what would happen at 3.a.m when a call comes through requesting immediate action. He is so volatile, he is the last person I would want with his finger near the button.
