rebates for installing windows and doors

Can anyone tell me the process for claiming back against your tax when you have had windows and doors fitted to your home.we have been told you get back a % of the labour costs offset against your tax for the year.

You fill in the information on your tax return and it's the opposite you get a percentage of the cost of the windows, not the labour.  Forgot to say it has to be double glazed windows of course with a certain rating.

That is correct , but although you cannot claim for the installation man hours, the windows and  doors  have to be supplied by and installed by a registered Artisan and the total cost must be on one single TVA invoice from that artisan.

What this means is that you cannot buy them from somewhere like brico depot and get an artisan to install them or do them yourself if you want to claim tax relief.

You can claim 40% of the cost of fênetres or portes-fênetres, provided they have a thermal conductivity better than 2 W/m2.K, and provided that the cost is itemised on the same invoice as the installation cost.
