The pound is on the brink

For what it's worth, I heard an "expert" on the lunch business programme on BC TV yesterday who said that the pound will be trading at 1.25 later on in the summer and autumn and might even go as high as 1.3.

Of course, since he said that, the pound, if anything, has been falling since yesterday and is now at a whisker over 1.200, having been nearly 1.22!

Experts! However will we conduct our lives without them?
