Norman’s Jubilee

We see little of Norman these days but for those who are interested he is an ardent monarchist; his barrel has been decorated with Union Jack bunting and pictures of her maj. and he plays Land of Hope and Glory on a 1960s record player, at full volume whilst shaking his begging bowl which is actually half a human skill painted red, white and blue, of course. He is dressed in a Union Jack suit, apparently. His rendering of the National Anthem nearly got him in trouble as a passing gendarme tried to stop him, not that is was wrong but that he was singing way out of tune.

Still he says that the takings are excellent this year, so far.
