ThePineManAndy
Hiya people,Firstly thanks for replies to my other recent questions. We have decided to visit sw France, probably in the summer, and wondered if someone could give me an idea of approximate distance between St Nicolas in Brittany (so we can visit relatives) and say, Cognac, and also how many hours by road in the holiday season? Many thanks in anticipation! Vaughat
According to the Michelin Map site the distance is about 438 KM and the drive should take just over 5 hours, I don't know how busy this route gets in the summer since I've never driven it.Hope that helpsTony (in Cognac !) GRT17
I had a look on Mappy.com and they too predicted 5hr.20. It's a good route but it will take longer in the peak season. If you want details of good coffee / lunch stops en route send me a P.M.Gill
