She was chatting to an African friend- who jokingly told her that in her country they had 'des regimes de bananes'. Although the pond is still full of the stuff.Still got a big wall of it next to the east wall, mixed with the 400 tiles, roof battens and guttering that came down when a couple of tons slid off the roof a few days before we moved! (damage approved for repair by insurance!)Absolutely gorgeous weather since we arrived - meadow full of wild flowers- red kites soaring overhead.
