it is operated by/on behalf of SNCF, so I would have thought standard SNCF conditions for dogs would apply.  Unfortunately their site is sufficiently difficult to negotiate that I cannot find anything about dogs.

Many thanks for the replies - both positive and negative - and for some of you sharing a carriage with a Dobermann would be very frightening.

Also thanks for the link Christine - looks like this is something to be done when you have a lot of time so perhaps best left until next year (must get the old lounge finished this visit).

Just found this, well it's cause I'm getting old and it takes time now?

We intend taking the trip with our labradog sometime soon and I had checked to see what the situation was. I don't think we would be heading for the open caridges though.
