Merger of CSG and Income tax?

Yes I think there is a question of cross purposes here.

I understand CSG and the two other charges as the amounts paid on retirement income by those who "à la charge de la France" for Health care.

Of course there is the charge on rental income which is also CSG but has completely different arrangements, and for those resident in the UK is relatively recent, athough it has always been charged for French residents.

This may explain why 5e and I were talking about one thing and you and ET another
