Maw
Have just discovered this site, it looks like it will be a Godsend! We are in the process of buying a house near Azerables (Creuse 23).We desperatly need to find a good builder/workmen.. the house is a renovation project.Although we would prefer to supervise all the work ourselves, our French is not good enough, and we are still living in England. Can anybody recommend a good builder, ideally somebody who can oversee the project. We would prefer to employ French workmen, but would also consider employing an English person to act as go-between.We'll be in La Souterraine 1st,2nd,3rd of December I did pick up a leaflet from CMP builders in La Souterraine, does any body know what their work is like?RegardsMark and Angela[email protected]
Janed
LAST EDITED ON 29-Nov-03 AT 03:14 PM (GMT)HiYour local Mairie will keep a register of builders in your Commune. These are the best people to use - they live local, are legitimate and know the right materials and so on to use. However, if you need some help with language etc.. feel free to ask. I'm always happy to travel out to the Creuse - for a small fee! ;)_______________________Jane Daviswww.immolim.com Selling property in the Limousin region of France
