Cat Posted May 3, 2006 Share Posted May 3, 2006 I think what TJ means is that, when we receive an automatated email notification of a new post to a forum, the subject line is in the format"(France Forum - Moving and Living in France) New Post to Forum: Re: Living France Fun Trivia Quiz - Just for fun"This is too long for the subject window in some email progams, and gets truncated to something like"(France Forum - Moving and Living in France) New Post to Forum:"making it impossible to see which forum has new posts.I find it irritating if, for example, I have several notifications, and have to open each mail individually to see which posts have been replied to.
