Dieudonné for president?

Recommended Posts

Personally I think that this is a plan with few or no flaws. If he hisses in that threatening manner that he uses in mission cleopatre

I imagine that he should quickly gain the respect (fear - a great

motivator) of Sarko and Dom-Dom. It would certainly make meetings of

the EU comission more fun. Actors should enter politics: most existing

politicians (usually lawyers, it seems) have little grasp of the real

world, so having professionals in instead to maintain the fictions of

government should be highly satisfactory. Old Ronnie R did a splendid

job in the US, after all, and he was only awake about 25% of the time.[:D]

Off the top of my head I can think of several other actors who've become politicians:

Glenda Jackson MP

The one from East Enders, now an MEP

Sonny (of he and Cher) onetime Mayor of Palm Springs

Clint Eastwood ditto of Carmel

Arnold Schw etc now Governor of California

and not forgetting (how could we?) La Cicciolina, the Italian porn star who somehow managed to become an MP...

Don't know of any French ones though.

LOL, wouldn't that be soooooo good, I just loved that hiss!  [:)]

There's probably an obscure ancient French law which says that you're not allowed to be president if you have curly hair and wear an anorak.

If he made it, he would be President M'Bala M'Bala.............. [H]
On a more serious note it would be hard to predict the impact of his infamous antisemitic sketches.(Heil Israel etc etc)
This is indeed an issue.  It's very easy for us PC whities to think we're the only ones who do racism.

Was it just a sketch, or did he mean it.......

.......or maybe I'm just harbouring a secret desire to have the hissing Caius Céplus as president.  [:)]

It was a "good time" for accidents and suicides, quite a little clutch of them!!!

Now you come to mention it....Mo Mowlem, Robin Cook & Tony Banks

all in a very short time frame. There may have been someone else too -

no matter. Now T Banks was only a sometime embarassment in the foot /

mouth juxtraposition stakes, but the other two were downright bolshie.

I'd be quite worried were I Clare Short. T.Blair has a tenuous link to

show biz (having seen a couple of his father-in-laws treading of the

boards, "tenuous" may be a bit generous), so I suppose he could sneak

in under the wire....
