Luckily, we can get R4 LW here.  But we have the radio on on the Internet most of the time - often Radio7 in the evening to hear an old ISIHAC each Monday night, Newsquiz on Tuesdays, etc., or on play it again.  We invested in some wireless speakers earlier this year so we can play stuff off the PC in the garden.

I've just had a look at the list of scout badges on www.scoutbase.org.uk - blimey, aren't there a lot!  And they don't just hand them out willy-nilly (did you know that comes from the Latin "volens-nolens"?), either, they really have to work for them.  Here is a list of Activity badges for Scouts - there are more for cubs etc. and for group activities:

Remember the Brownie Promise?

I promise that I'll do my best
To love my God,
To serve the Queen and my Country,
To help other people,
and to keep the Brownie Guide Law.

THE BROWNIE GUIDE LAW

A Brownie Guide thinks of others and does a good turn every day.

THE BROWNIE MOTTO

Lend A Hand.

God, when I think what a good little girl I was - when did it all go wrong?[:D]
