The quick and easy way being to obliterate China and India. That would seem to be more efficient that selecting the third person eveywhere - though if we kept doing that we would eventually get down to just 2 people. Maybe that's how the Adam and Eve thing began in the first place ?

Not surprising really, those that know the difference are a dying species and in a txt driven world saving 1 letter must be important.
