Lindylou
Hi Steve Have you thought of looking around in the Auvergne? My daughter has lived there for over four years and it is a great place. Very rural, quiet roads, beautiful scenery. Its get overlooked quite often as it so far from the sea, but it has a great deal to offer and first time visitors are normally very surprised. Graham & Brenda
A lot depends on what you like - seaside, rivers, canals, mountains, hot, cooler, rural, towns etc. France is so big it really has something of everything, so tell us your preferences and I'm sure you'll get lots of replies! Kitty
Welcome to the Forum, Stevey. Take a look at these threads:http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1140948/ShowPost.aspxhttp://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/1050027/ShowPost.aspxYou need to say what you like. Town/country. Culture. Architecture. Seaside. Mountains. Skiing. Swimming. etc etc. What sort of weather do you like? Hot/cold/mild. Snow. Mediterranean/continental/maritime? etc etc. That will give the Forum more of an idea to point you in the right direction.
