Where's the Summer Gone??

Recommended Posts

According to the so called experts, the very changeable weather patterns we have been experiencing in the last couple of years, is not due to global warming or cooling, but because of declining sun spot activity, which is the lowest for a couple of hundred years. As a result Europe could be in for a decade of unusually cold winters and wet and changeable summers! All meant to be part of a natural cycle in the activity of the sun, which when last at this stage, resulted in the Thames freezing over in winter!

There's a "vigilance orange" about to come into force for Pyrénées Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées this afternoon/tonight/tomorrow morning - for heavy rain and also wind on the Basque coast, which also apparently is coinciding with a high tide......

Batten down those hatches.....

Inclement weather in southern parts can be anticipated in relation to principally the Iberian Peninsula; weather systems seem to be tracking over Los Picos de Europa, Pyrenees,Massif Central and Juras. In DS the Bay of Biscay and Atlantic systems seem less frequent and less malign.
