Chancer
Trente jours, that'll be the same as 48 heures [:'(]Meaning never, or if faced with overwhelming world-wide pressure they might begrudgingly admit to their wrongs after 60 years but not do anything about them.Standard letter putting the ball back in your court, be very surprised if you ever get a substantive reply. Jay
Got a response from EDF today. They said they had tried to phone me but didn't get a response, strange there was nothing on our answer-phone!. The crux of the letter is as follows:EDF est missionnee par l'Etat pour collecter CSPE......Je ne peux donc pas répondre favorablement a votre demande .......... vous informer que vous avez la possibilite d'adresser votre reclamation directement a la CRE ou au Ministere de l'EnergieAs you say Chancer - pass the buck! EuroTrash
Apparently the French government is appealing against the decision. The man in charge of the state coffers wouldn't be very happy with EDF if he wins his appeal and the judgement is reversed and the EU says he can keep his tax - and then he discovers that EDF has given it all back already.
