Has anybody any recommendations for not too expensive hotels or B & B's with parking?. Have sussed out usual Etap & Ibis where you know what to expect. A couple of weeks ago off the back of the company website we stayed at a Mercure in Ouistreham where once you got past the stylish reception was like 'Faulty Towers' - extremely dated and non too clean. It was excellent in all respects, quiet and well located ie within 2 to 3 mins walk of the centre of La Rochelle.
