I have watched a couple of reports on tv tonight and am not surprised at the findings, it was suggested that pilot error  could be to blame a while ago.

However, the pilots from Air France were criticising the alarm system, being too noisy and hard to tell where there is a malfunction, and from the sound of it, it cannot have helped.

 

In the last couple of years, we have seen some remarkable pilots make landings that were very difficult and could so easily have gone wrong, and this showing the consequences when it does go wrong and it is so sad.

Poor excuse- audible alarms can normally be cancelled.

This doesn't sound , professional!  (excuse the pun) or, offer comfort to future ,Air France passengers.
