Meo Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 I want to say "time has flown by":I have come up with four possibilities and am not sure which (if any) is correct:1) Le temps est très vite passé2) Le temps est passé très vite3) Le temps s’est très vite passé4) Le temps s’est passé très vite any help would be greatly appreciated! Bones Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 According to her indoors (what's French for that?!) answer 2 is correct, almost, you should say:Le temps a passé très viteAlso the second suggestion by CJB is correct.Apparently the French do use this expression.Please do not infer any smugness on my part: I had no idea and the missus is French....
