How to refer a restaurant to the health inspectors?

Does anyone know how you can refer a restaurant to be inspected by the health authorities?

Just had a pretty bad experience where (in our party of 12) three of us found hairs in the dishes, and another one found a piece of plastic.

Upon complaining about the plastic, the cooks response was to reach out and remove the plastic with his hands and say there was no longer a problem!

I'm not usually the complaining sort, but this goes way too far in my books.

Regards,

You could be right... the only other time in my life when I have had a problem was in Montpellier when I had a dead cockroach in my "salad composé" - mind you I should have seen the warning signs as I saw on another menu, someone had written added a "dé" to make "salad décomposé"!

I was offered another salad which I politely refused!

Montpellier, eh?   Funny that!  I keep telling people, but they just won't listen!  [:D]

Oh I certainly heard alright. I even gave the town a swerve on the way back from holiday and found a McDo further north [:D]

The best one, is that on more than one occasion, when a blue cheese has been

brought to the table with maggots present and the waiter has said

"mais c'est protein"

No I jest, they have said when questioned of this mere detail "c'est

normale" and I promise you (and I bet others have witnessed this) I

have seen French people just put the wiggly things aside and carried on

munching the cheeese.

I guess I will never be an integrated, try as I might, I just cannot pass the maggot test....................
