I dont cook it very often but have a request for a group tonight...

I just did a taste testing for lunch and it was quite magnificent.

With all this good French food around us it is sometimes a good idea to step aside back to some real McCoy

Its some dishes I have always cooked but having been preoccupied with French food it has not been done properly for a long time...

This morning I did Beef Satay with peanut sauce, Malaysian Laksa, Opor Ayam with rice cooked in pandanas leaves, real coconut ice cream with Pandanas leaves infusion and pisang goreng.

Actually our clients are dutch and they brought the hard to get ingredients from holland.  I am off now in search for some bean shoots of which I have little chance of finding...

We are no where near any decent shops... nearest shop 100km

After trying all the organic shops in 20 km radius I finally found bean sprouts at the local carrfour... my least preferred shop. Poor quality but sufficed.

You cant beat some label rouge chicken with Asian spices... You cant break the bones in your teeth but the quality is great.
