Spanish rosé sold as French

Recommended Posts

If you are buyng rosé wine, be careful to read the label very attentively or take advice as there has been a new case of cheap Spanish rosé being sold as French it actually costs about 50% less to produce.

It may, of course, be just as good but French it aint, though it may still be changing nationalities late at night as it crosses some obscure frontier.

How very naive to think that the label tells the truth.
A friend of mine who imports wine from Madiran  to the UK asked if there was any of a specific year's production laft as it had been very popular and he was told "No, but we still have some of the labels......"
