franco-phil Posted January 15, 2007 Author Share Posted January 15, 2007 a brief shower made the roof look shiny which reflected the clouds. the tiles are composite, just a like for like replacement(but i dont think asbestos is allowed any more). its situated in dept 19 (correze) on the xaintrie plateau. Chancer Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 In my region the tiles (which are also used vertically) are very common and called "Ardoise quarante quarante" - the size in cm'sAlso to have a tab (or slate) at the local bar is known as an ardoise.
