I've been looking for these then realised I lost them when my old PC died on me last year.  Fortunately I had sent them to mum and she found them in her inbox and forwarded them back to me.

It took about 2 hours to get these shots last June which meant sitting on my sunbed with the camera ready and staying completely still - they are quick little devils, but I was pleased with the results.

Your patience won out! They are some lovely photos of the humming bird hawk moth. We get lots of them here on our lavender and they are almost impossible to photograph, but I have some lovely video of them...

These 2 have been shown before, but they fit so well here too so please excuse the repeats???

I love scarce swallowtails, not scarce here though...[:D]
