chocccie
Save your used jars, cover the lids with gingham and elastic bands.... or if you want new Gamm Vert and Bricolage sell them.Do you need anyone to test out your jams??? [Www]
somme man
Was in Arras market yesterday and there was an elderly lady selling jam, it was obvious that she collected used jars as everyone was different.
whitey
Thanks for the advice and I have PLENTY of volunteers for the "tasting" funnily enough. Does anyone know of any French wholesale websites for jam jars? I have found a few in UK but they will only deliver to the UK and I would prefer to have them delivered here (87) to save the hassle of re-posting them and costs. Thanks again..... Clair
Here's a site that sells them in bulk (I don't know them): http://www.ebottles.net/ and another: http://www.tompress.com/ (they do a catalogue)
Will
Look in garden shops, agricultural shops, tat shops, even supermarkets in the jam season. Unless you plan to make vast quantities there is little point geting involved with wholesalers. You could try e-bay.
jc
If you're going to sell your products, don't forget your hygeine certificate, higher levels of kitchen equipment and the many other legal requirements.
Loiseau
My local Emmaus junk shop usually has loads of jamjars for sale. Maybe too expensive for you though, as they're often of the nice old-fashioned variety.Angela
