If so they are edible, don't ask cause I don't know how you would eat them (what a cop out!). We also have some here too. Wonderful flowers.... Once the flowers have finished then that rosette will die but you have lots more that will carry on growing and probably some will flower next year. Pads Posted August 24, 2007 Share Posted August 24, 2007 Hi Loz just read you web site / bogg . best read I have had in ages, you sound like you are having fun have you thought about putting all this into a book. One tip make sure you keep to straw for your chickens not hay as hay can contain red mites and once you have it its impossible to get rid of them and they can eventually kill chickens.
