I want to use it to improve the soil drainage, which even with plenty of compost and leaf mould, can be a bit stodgy.I can get those sort-of volcanic, reddish lumps, the name of which I forget, but they're not what I'm after. It's pretty sandy, as you might expect, but I'll have a close look at it. Probably, in fact almost certainly better than nothing, so thanks for the suggestions.
