I have a place near St Malo with barn and some land. I am thinking of buying and selling antiquated french garden furniture from local Broacntes. shabby chic'ing and storing locally for UK sale. the london market is very strong. I know of two Brocantes in the area.

Has anyone connections with possible suppliers?

thanks

Northern Brittany is not my neck of the woods but is there a Troc near you or perhaps Emmaus depot, they might be worth a look.

At the Country Living Christmas Fair in London last week someone was selling sets of old French china, every day stuff and asking quite a lot for it. I have seen the same china in junk shops in France and over there it is cheap as chips.

Wooly, on this occaision I think you may not be quite right - I do know a couple of dealers who deal in French stuff (one lives there) but the market in the Uk has been dire, and is is only now perking up in certain sectors. Last weekend I was at a French 'Salon' and the prices were eye watering......
