help for a friend

Recommended Posts

Hi, have friends who have a blow up above ground pool that was green and is losing its colour but is now full of crap on the bottom. The question is, taking into account that it does not have a hoover function, how do they get rid of the crap/algae lying on the bottom. Please do not give me a hard time for asking this question and yes i'm sure it has been covered before but please indulge me,thanks in advance ( i hope) , Hugh.

I presume that the pump and filter configuration with the pool has some

sort of skimmer and filtration function in which case it can be adapted

to fit a vacuum to clean the bottom. If you need help with it let me

know.

First thought I would suggest the your friends examine thier

sanitisation regime which failed and produced the algae in the first

place.

As a general principle, just because the pool is either small or cheap

does not mean that you can do without the same systems which bigger or

more expensive pools use. A body or water needs to be sanitised and

then filtered constantly, otherwise it will promote life - not the sort

you want however.
