Chirurgie ???

You might have been in a surgical ward, or perhaps you underwent a procedure or test of some kind which, although not "cut you open and operate" kind of surgery, is still classified as a surgical procedure (stitches are "petite chirurgie" for example). Difficult to say without knowing more!

Did you have an exploritary recommended by a surgeon? our daughter recently had a stay in hospital for an arteriography and was on the surgical ward as they put the `fluid` in through the femal (sp) artery. 3 days bed and board or should that be bored......she had to be bedridden.

Just the x-ray, ct and bloods.

Even our French friends think the bill was a bit high.  However, the hospital rang today to tell us they had undercharged us!!!  Not entirely sure how they worked out the bill, but we managed to convince them they were wrong and that we had paid according to the facture even though we disagree with it.  While I'm at the gynea next week, OH is going to query the bill anyway.
