we have a schneider tv which we btouht from the UK, we have lost the remote control somewhere in the removal process I have just been back to the uk and bought a uiversal remote control.. can any one help? to set up the tv( it has beenout of use for around three months) we need to start the instalation process from scratch, the booklet for the tvsays press `instal` on the remote... no instal button.. is there a way we can instal this tv ( no manual buttons on the tv except volume,colour)

Suggestions only :

Check that there are no other flaps covering any more controls. Check there is not very small button to press in.
Borrow any remote with a set up button and see if that works.
Carefully unplug the TV and count to 10, Plug in and switch on but hold down both or even all four of the up and down buttons. Till you get to set up menu, one pair of buttons may scroll through options, the second scrolls through the choices at each option.
Set up the universal remote for your TV and methodically try each of the function buttons.
Set up the Sky remote for your TV and methodically try each of the function buttons on that.
Do a search in the web using the model number and Schneider and see if there are any rebadged models.
Try firm below for actual Schneider remote or advice.
