It is quite new, a Sharp 20in LCD LC20S5E/WH and the paperwork sugests the tuner is NTSC • PAL • SECAM. Does anyone know whether that means it has all those options? Would it be easy to retune to receive French TV if we bring it back? WE don´t want to use up precious room in the car if it will only work as a satellite TV.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anton Redman Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 It should be no more difficult to set up for French TV than it was to first set it up in the UK. Our latest Proline scanned everything including digital, PAL and SECAM. You may have to find the install option on the menu system. You may have to tell the TV it is France via the menu. One test you could carry out would be to reinstall in the UK and see what it searches for.Note you are much more likely to need an outside antenna in France than in the UK.
