problem with sky - charente 16

Nothing obvious here,  although it has to be said that the BBC had a minor fault for a few minutes yesterday lunchtime.

Press Services -> System set up -> Signal Test

and tell us what you see on that test screen please,  as that helps identify what the problem is.

And do try a complete mains unplug (for about half a minute) followed by a repower.

Laters - should have asked - do you MEAN Sky specifically or are you using the term to refer to sat TV in general?   If just Sky it's probably a card problem.

I assume the message is "there is a technical fault with this channel, please try again later"

Just unplug the box from the mains and plug back in.

Should sort it out.

If it's a signal problem you get a different message "no sat signal is being received"
