AnOther,  for your interest, an FT engineer issued replacement paperwork for our old  Livebox which was playing up so it had to go back.  The router was a gift and as we are only secondairs we decided to make use of the gift. 

Pachapapa,  Skype is adequate for our needs.

Glad you are happy with Skype. I used to use it when I had dial-up. I found it very frustrating to use.

I am trying to imagine comparing a quick call to check on a potential purchase from a shop in Kowloon by means of a quick telephone call AND the cumbersome need to interchange several e-mails to arrange a mutual time for communication with the shop' computer at a convenient time for the shop assistant.

You must be very patient.
